Our sails are designed and made in Alaska where quality, workmanship and design are available at a very competitive price.

Compare the quality, workmanship and what you get in a sail, not just the price alone. The difference is a philosophy which states that sails, and in particular our sails, are made to last.

Information regarding the Canvas Bucket Book:
Turn of the 20th century chandlery catalog advertisement.

The bucket book will have detailed instructions for making four different historic styles of canvas buckets.  There will be patterns, instructions for cutting a short segment regarding sewing, and most of all finishing.  The finishing requires making the correct size “fender grommets” for the top and bottom of the bucket. Working in holes for the bale and the making of the bale and lanyard.  Since the canvas used for the bucket is No.4 or heavier it can be considered a more advanced project than the ditty bag.
